The Indigenous Peoples Map
LandMark is a new interactive map designed to provide information and help to protect land that is held and used by Indigenous Peoples around the world. The map shows the boundaries of formally recognized lands held or used by Indigenous Peoples and lands held under customary tenure arrangements.
Selecting an area of Indigenous Peoples' land on the map will open an information window providing more information on the land, including details of the recognition status, land category and the size of the land area.
LandMark also includes an area selection tool that allows you to draw an area on the map to display a list of indigenous and community lands in the selected area.
