Clean Air Cycle Routes

A lot of bike routing maps have great features which allow you to find the flattest, safest or fastest routes for your bike ride (Bikesy is a great example which includes all three options).  The Clean Ride Mapper however is the first bike routing map I've seen to include the option to find a route with the cleanest air.

Enter your starting point and destination into this map and you are shown three different bike routes on a Google Map. Your choice of routes includes the shortest route, the cleanest route and the quietest route. The cleanest route is the one that exposes you to the least cumulative NO2 over the duration of your ride. The quietest route is the one with the least amount of travel.

The map includes a heat map of the NO2 concentrations in Montreal (sorry this map only works in Montreal).
