Qype on Google Maps

Viennese map development company Toursprung have created a Google Maps mashup of restaurants and cafes featured on Qype. Qype is a social community which hosts reviews and opinions about local businesses. A few weeks ago Qype released an API which MapTheQ are using to map eating establishments throughout the world.

MapTheQ uses Toursprung's own mapping framework, Maptoolkit, to map the restaurants. Maptoolkit allows for clustering of map markers, full text search and a host of other interesting features.

Toursprung have created a number of other Google Maps mashups with Maptoolkit, including:
These are all sites where users can map their favourite bike, jogging, hiking, motorbiking or skating routes. I'll leave it to you to guess which map does which.
